ADHD Pirates does not provide one-to-one support, diagnosis, therapy, crisis support, advocacy or case-specific medical, legal or employment advice.
If another service or resource is a better fit for what you are looking for, we may point you towards that instead.
BEFORE GETTING IN TOUCH
A few routes may get you where you need to go more quickly.
Looking for ADHD information, tools or other support?
Start with our Tools and Resources page. It includes information and external organisations you can explore at your own pace.
Interested in our peer groups?
Our current Stafford group is full and the waiting list is temporarily paused because we cannot currently offer a realistic timescale for a place. Please check the Peer Groups page for the latest availability.
Looking for workplace information?
Our workplace pages and guides are designed to help people think more clearly about barriers, support options, adjustments and appropriate next steps.
Need urgent or crisis support?
ADHD Pirates is not a crisis service. Please use an appropriate NHS, emergency or specialist support service.

Quick Answers
DO YOU OFFER ONE-TO-ONE SUPPORT?
No.
We do not provide one-to-one coaching, therapy, advocacy, casework or personal advice.
Our direct support is currently group-based, while much of our information and resources can be used independently through the website.
ARE YOUR ADHD PEER GROUPS CURRENTLY OPEN?
Our current Stafford group is running and is full.
The waiting list became too long for us to give people a realistic timescale, so we have temporarily paused new additions while we look at future capacity.
Please check the Peer Groups page for the latest position.
DO I NEED AN ADHD DIAGNOSIS TO USE YOUR WEBSITE OR RESOURCES?
No.
Our public information and resources can be explored by adults with ADHD, people waiting for assessment, people considering whether ADHD may be relevant to their experience, and those supporting them.
Using a resource does not require you to adopt a particular explanation for what you are experiencing.
WHO ARE THE WORKPLACE RESOURCES FOR?
They are for employees, employers, managers and others trying to understand and respond to barriers at work.
The emphasis is on the actual difficulty, the outcome someone is trying to achieve, possible options and appropriate specialist routes — rather than assuming a diagnosis automatically determines an adjustment.
CAN I DONATE?
Yes.
Donations help us maintain free information and resources, community activity, group delivery and the less visible work needed to keep ADHD Pirates running.
You can find current information on the Donate page.
DO YOU WORK WITH ORGANISATIONS?
We are open to relevant partnerships, research, community collaboration and conversations about our resources and approach.
We do not currently provide general consultancy or individual employee casework.
CAN I CONTRIBUTE TO ADHD PIRATES?
We occasionally work with people whose experience or professional knowledge can contribute to a specific piece of work.
Our articles are developed within an editorial and evidence framework, so we do not automatically publish unsolicited personal stories or general ADHD advice.
If you have a specific proposal that fits the work, you are welcome to contact us.
